Regular People is a creative studio seamlessly connecting Producing, Marketing, and General Management — all under one roof. By uniting these traditionally separate disciplines, we create an environment where creative vision and efficiency work hand-in-hand.

We are an audience-first and artist-first company. Our holistic approach ensures that every choice we make balances commercial strategy with artistic integrity, allowing each department to maintain its distinct vision while contributing to a unified whole.

This integrated model creates a more efficient and transparent pathway for theatrical productions. For artists, it means the freedom to tell bold, cutting-edge stories with the support of a team that fully understands the ecosystem. For audiences, it means richer, more meaningful connections with the work on stage.

At its core, Regular People exists to push theatre forward: empowering artists, engaging audiences, and reimagining what’s possible when creativity and strategy are in sync.

our story

Two young men smiling and posing together in a spacious room with large windows, one sitting on a rolling cart and the other standing beside him, both dressed in casual dark clothing.

Jacob Stuckelman and Andrew Patino met early in their careers, both eager to break into producing commercial theatre. Bright-eyed and hungry, their paths quickly diverged: Jacob found his footing in management, while Andrew fell in love with marketing. They cut their teeth, paid their bills, and chased their producing aspirations in what little free time they had outside of their jobs.

Years later, the two reconnected over drinks to discuss producing a new play together. Swapping stories and frustrations, Andrew half-joked,

“Well, what if we just did everything in-house?”

It sounded unfeasible – to produce, market, and manage shows completely in-house – and neither of them were sold right away. Still, they decided to collaborate. Almost immediately, Jacob and Andrew fell into their complementary roles and found themselves returning to that original question—only now, it didn’t feel hypothetical.

That was the beginning of Regular People.

Regular People was founded to centralize what had always been fragmented—bringing producing, marketing, and general management together in one place. The mission: creative clarity, operational transparency, and a smarter, more sustainable way to empower artists, grow audiences, and bring stories to life.

Today, Regular People is an award-winning creative studio—but our pursuit remains the same: we make theatre for Regular People.
